Did you capture the beauty of the shapes, patterns, texture and natural symmetry of the rock pool creature you observed?

Yes

How?

By looking on the computers and IPads.  It’s a starfish and it’s got space inside of it.  I put some little planets on it with a big dot in the middle and swords on the end of the starfish.

Was it hard for you to transfer the patterns from your observational drawing to your batik?

No because I did space on it and space is easy to draw.  I could do good dots on it because I’m a good dotter.

Who am I

Hi! My name is Jacob and I learn in Room2.

I made my name with the alphabet beads

 Our first try at making bubbles.

I learned to blow slowly and....

I made a beauty!

This is my first Cross Competency Award

It says: It has been wonderful to see how you understand now what learning is about. You can see the need to listen, watch, think and then persevere to complete your task. You always try your best!

I am learning about fractions -  half of a whole pizza! I am using our big interactive whiteboard.

I made this cow for our play ...Mrs. Wishy Washy that we performed in Junior Assembly.

Painting

When I began in Room 2 I didn't like painting or making things.

But now I know we can all paint and we are all successful. It just needs some practise and perseverancc

We made beautiful flowers to celebrate spring.
